"We are suspended in a moment, a sense of floating before and after time. There are no people. There is no date. No marker of when this could be." These are the words of Vittorio Colaizzi, in a wonderful essay that coincides with Matthew F Fisher's online solo show, The Sameness of Every Day, with Taymour Grahne out of London. We wrote about the beauty of Fisher's work a few weeks back on the site, and excited to see this timely and poetic body of work now.

"Here, the gigantic and minuscule meet and mingle under the long shadow of history, where associations gather and cling," Colaizzi writes. Same-ness never sounded so perfect.
