adidas Skateboarding is kicking off 2019 with a showcase in Denver, Colorado at ATC DEN this weekend! As usual, they've got a heavy lineup from around the skate world, this time bringing in Chris Haven, Coburn Huff, Lost Girls Tribe, Dirty Tom, Garrett Moore, Jeremy Barber, Alyson McClaran, Tristan Minton, Whitney Wells, and Daniel Mitchell. There's tons of variety in there, so read on below for each artists' bio or statement.

Chris Haven
Skateboarding and graffiti/street art have always gone hand and hand for me. I learned about tagging and murals through skating in the streets of Denver. I can't imagine one without the other! It seems only right for  Adidas to showcase the combination of these two worlds! Excited to be apart of the culture and honored to display what it has made me and my art!

Jeremy Barber
A skateboarder since his childhood in the early eighties, Jeremy began tattooing in the mid-nineties “new school” boom. Always influenced by the graphics (skateboard) of his youth, Jeremy began doing graphics of his own about ten years ago and has done designs for many local and national brands.

Coburn Huff
Aim to capture momentous moments of light and movement.  Every composition is curated with precise conception.  Taking into account every aspect of the story.  My images drive movement in the vast framework of our world.

Dirty Tom
"I basically just take photos of my friends. But skateboarding is so much more than the 4-second clip that's gonna end up sandwiched between 2 other clips. Skateboarding is pain. It's anger and depression. But most of all skateboarding is friendship. I just wanted to showcase all of those emotions through my photos. And as for the collages, that's what I'm working on to stay sane when I'm not out skating."

Tristan Minton
My long history with skateboarding and graffiti has given me a distinct perspective on art and creating in general. My art reflects a heavy influence from skateboard culture and designs over the last 20 years. Mixing hard-line graffiti and icon-based designs are some of the styles I'm most inspired by. Being a veteran skater with plenty of history being sponsored, being a filmer, and editor in Colorado has allowed me to meet and work with tons of great people in the skate scene worldwide.  I’ve designed plenty of pro boards and helped with designs and art in tons of industries and mediums. I am extremely passionate about shoes and fashion which shows throughout my work. Being apart of the Adidas skateboarding artist showcase is exciting and humbling and I look forward to the show and hanging my pieces.

Daniel Mitchell
I’m honored to be a part of this show, it’s still pretty surreal to me that people want to see something I’ve done.

Natalie Oaks (Lost Girls Tribe)
Lost Girls is a way to bring strong, talented women in action sports together to create and shred. We support artists like Savannah Pitts and the Lionheart Project because we are all friends, but also because we are driven to express ourselves and make waves. The Lionheart Project is art inspired by Savannah’s love for travel, skating, and skiing.

Whitney Wells
Here are some words my friend Noel wrote about me.

"As cliche as it sounds, Whitney Wells is what most people would consider a natural. Artistically speaking, things come to him in an organic and stylish manner. His work exudes an unforced and coherent aesthetic, which in turn has become his signature. This signature is what many artists dedicate their lives to; this want of having a specific association or style that comes along with their work that says "that's his" or "that's hers". Unlike the majority of artists I've encountered, Whitney was simply born with his signature. And with this blessing, he continues to redefine his personal landscape and the idea of being born a natural." -Noel Sinclair Boyt
