Drew Estate Commemorates 20 Years of ACID Cigars with “KUBA ARTE"
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of ACID Cigars, Drew Estate is announcing the launch of KUBA ARTE, a limited edition cigar series of seven collectible water tower humidors. Each features art created in collaboration with five of Brooklyn's most legendary and respected living figures in aerosol art culture. ACID Cigar's KUBA ARTE will be displayed in Drew Estate's booth at the IPCPR Convention and Tradeshow, held June 29 to July 2, 2019, in Las Vegas.
“KUBA ARTE is a groundbreaking project that has never been seen in the cigar industry. For inspiration, we returned to our roots in DUMBO, Brooklyn, the origins of Drew Estate and ACID, and meditated from the Brooklyn rooftops finding our Chi. We witnessed a skyline to behold, decorated with water towers, graffiti and, of course, the illustrious Manhattan Bridge. It was on those rooftops that we spent many of our nights dreaming of what Drew Estate would become, that KUBA ARTE was born.” ––Drew Jonathan, President and Founder of Drew Estate
ACID's KUBA ARTE is a 5 13/16” x 54 limited edition torpedo, wrapped in a lush Broadleaf maduro capa and bright Indonesian binder, with a blend of hearty Nicaraguan fillers. Each limited edition water tower includes 20 cigars with a Boveda inside and features one of seven unique designs from a total of 1,750 sets.
For the 20-year anniversary series, ACID Cigars has partnered with five legendary graffiti artists of Brooklyn, providing the sole guidance to proudly proclaim, “THIS IS OUR NEW YORK ACCENT!” within each piece.
