Italian artist, Fra Biancoshock, recently completed a couple of new interventions from what he describes as his "Nice to meet you" series. Site-specific and interactive, with the found surrounding and its elements, the idea of these works is to alternate the reality and spontaneously capture the attention of the passers-by.

One of his most recent pieces was a steam-roller that was transformed into a giant toilet roll machine. With minimal physical intervention, the artist distorted the existing meaning and functionality of the object, giving it a temporary second life. Similar to this one, he recently painted stacks of hay as a train composition, making a connection with urban and rural life, as well as his graffiti past and the type of works he's creating nowadays. Other works included repurposing the ATM machine as a gambling slot machine or a trash bin as Champions League trophy.

With his witty, provocative or humorous interventions, Fra Biancoshock aims to capture the attention of the random passer-by as briefly as greeting a stranger on the street. The following of the interaction is left entirely to the observer who is able to further interact with the work, and take deeper meaning from it, discovering it's social commentary aspect or just enjoying the atypical everyday occurrence experienced. —Sasha Bogojev
