One of our favorite public art festivals, Bien Urbain, now in its 9th edition in the small town of Besançon, France near the Swiss border, is about to kick off once again with a series of murals, sculptures and interactive projects. This year, we are giving it extra attention because one of our favorite artists, Argentinian-born, Spanish-based Hyuro, is the guest curator of this year's line-up.

We hope to have more updates in the coming weeks as the festival kicks off, but 13 artists will be making works in public space in the French city. We covered the festival in the past, including last year's standout year. Along with Hyuro, Bien Urbain will see Know Hope, Jan Vormann, Mohamed l'Ghacham and more! Check the gallery above.
