One of the exhibitions we had on our radar all spring was Mexico City's Hilda Palafox's new solo show at Thinkspace Projects. Cuando Baje La Marea sees a major new development in Palafox's work (she goes by the name Poni on Instagram), as she has developed new palettes and dimensions to her recurring character. This body of work is her largest to date shown in the United States, with Palafox saying of the work, "Girls, love, rain, and music are my biggest inspirations."
Thinkspace makes note of their weekend schedule:
Saturday, May 2 at 12:00noon PST, they will post our professionally shot video tour of both May exhibitions to their Instagram TV. And from 1-2PM PST, they will go live on our Instagram Stories to tour both exhibitions, have a bit of fun, giveaway some stuff and answer some questions.
