On July 11th, the adidas Showcase returned to New York City at a brand new venue, 393, on Broadway in lower Manhattan.
Hildie Gifstad, Lizzi Reid, Jerami “STAINO” Goodwin, Isabella Reese, Scott Furkay, Mario Cairo, B.B. Bastidas & Mark Wiitanen shared their latest work to a jam-packed audience of skateboarders & art enthusiasts. Leo Heinert hosted the night & eSteady handled the DJ duties.
There were two live performances. Jose Velez a.k.a “TalCual” arrived from Medellin, Colombia to rap over a few tracks from his crew KYDZ. Prison closed the night in true rock n roll fashion.
A big shout out to Fat Tire for providing the brews and AriZona Iced Tea for hookin' up the iced tea and water. It was a beautiful summer night in the city! The Showcase will be stopping in Minneapolis next.
