Doing our morning rounds today we saw the announcement of the 2019 Whitney Biennial, which is always a bit controversial. Curators Jane Panetta and Rujeko Hockley, both of the Whitney, have curated over 75 artists for what is called America's longest running exhibition " to chart the latest developments in American art." To our personal delight, two past Juxtapoz cover artists, Nicole Eisenman and Wangechi Mutu, made the exhibition.

In the past, our founder, Robert Williams, has been included in the 2010 Whitney Biennial, so we always keep a close eye out on who is included every few years. You can see the list here of the 2019 participating artists.
