From now until January 31, 2020, will be taking submissions and Juxtapoz editors will select winners. What do you win? As part of our ongoing partnership with If You Were Here Now, today we look at this fun conceptual "how to" make a papier-mâché lamp video Katie Stout created. The Brooklyn-based artist makes work that is a caricaturization of furniture as it is traditionally understood, as in this case, created a lamp from a craft perspective. She utilizes a diverse range of media and often unexpected techniques to make sculptures of furniture and household objects. Enjoy!
