Juxtapoz has partnered with Liquitex to do a contest to see who can create the coolest and most unique time lapse videos using Liquitex products. What is the contest? We are asking our readers to submit their own art-making, time lapse videos using the #juxtimelapse tag on Instagram. From now until January 31, 2020, will be taking submissions and Juxtapoz editors will select winners. What do you win? One time lapse will be highlighted on the Jux Instagram each month, with a grand prize of being a Studio Time feature in the Spring 2020 print issue of Juxtapoz as well as the opportunity to work with Liquitex on a national brand campaign in 2020. We have really enjoyed sharing the ongoing tutorials and art therapy practices with If You Were Here Now, and today we have a great tutorial from Oakland, California based Drew Bennett on mixing colors. We have noticed in a few of the tutorials we have partnered on, the ones talking about mixing and making colors (like the one we did on Case For Making) have been very illuminating and a great insight into an artist's specific practice.
Bennettis an Oakland-based artist, designer/builder, curator, and creative director who founded FB AIR, Facebook’s artist in residency program.
