"I first got the idea for this painting after noticing these two beautiful Dobermans around my neighborhood. Their aesthetic is fierce but also incredibly graceful . . ." So says March 2017 cover artist Kristen Liu-Wong of her new painting made especially for Juxtapoz. We were in the need of some fierce but proud imagery this month, and the Los Angeles-based artist delivered with the goods. We sit down with Liu-Wong to discuss her dog, Greek mythology, and her upcoming show at Corey Helford Gallery.
