San Francisco-based graphic artist Scott Hansen goes by the name ISO50 when he works on his photography and design works. And much of it has the look of this video. When he does said video as a musician, he is Tycho, the music producer who makes what we would call "summertime ambiance." This is the video for his new track, "Ascension," directed by Charles Bergquist. Enjoy the psychedelic flourishes.

We are on a music video kick this morning, Becky & Joe are back again with another great handcrafted music video! We loved their psychedelic plasticine collage video for Tame Impala's "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards." This time, inspired by Man Ray, they used drawing, scratching, and mark making on actual Super 8, 16, and 35 mm film and acetate sheets for their video for Delicate Steve! Watch it after the jump!

Young Galaxy's latest music video for their 2011 track Blown Minded was produced, directed, and animated by Montreal-based visual artist Carine Khalife using only oil paint on glass. Explaining her technique, Khalife says, "I would paint on the glass with oil so that it wouldn't dry, and I could play with it for hours. A camera, fixed overhead above the animation table and plugged in my computer, would capture my paintings frame by frame and create the animation..."

Nothing says let's wake up on a Monday morning and see some weird like watching two naked bodies get all lab tested and futuristic along with the music of The Flaming Lips. "You Lust" is a track from the Lips' new LP, The Terror, is a long, winding, 13-minute epic, but thank you to Oklahoma's finest, this is along 4 minutes long. NSFW because this contains a full 4-minutes of nude bodies going all Matrix on you.

We have shown the psychedelic works of Eric Shaw on our site before, and when we saw this new Wild Nothing video for the track, "A Dancing Shell," we thought, this shit looks familiar? Not in the, this art is shit sort of way, but in the, hey that is fun and familiar. Sure enough, this video, directed by Hayley Akins, with animation by Hayley and Andy Williams, features the paintings of Eric Shaw. We recommend watching it at the highest HD you can do, full screen, and eat a mushroom cap. Just one. Wait, don't do that.

We suggest you watch A-Track and Tommy Trash's latest music video for their song "Tuna Melt" a couple times. While there is a Tuna Melt, the only part of the video that even comes close to having anything to do with the sandwich is the brief shot of a long line of toast being knocked over like dominoes. Watch an awesome series of dominoing objects that includes, fans, feathers, underwater toys, and yes, toast.

Remember when we just had movie previews at the theater and music videos on MTV? Now we got Daft Punk buying ad space on SNL to tease the costumes they are going to wear in support of their new album, and album teasers that are more creative than half the music industry. Nacho Guzman has created this fantastic teaser for French band Opale, and their new LP, Sparkles and Wine. The effect of the lighting shows you how much a face can change with shadows, color, and some good ol' LED lights.

Today, Iron and Wine has released a new LP, Ghost on Ghost, via Nonesuch Recoreds, and we have this great new animated video from Hayley Morris for the track "Joy" to show you.
