Back in July, Lagunitas and Juxtapoz helped sponsor one of our favorite musician's art shows; Courtney Barnett. In the midst of a worldwide tour for her infectious new LP, "Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit." Well, that is Courtney's art all over that cover, as well as a bunch of drawings she has been making on tour over the years. We interviewed her at the time, and now we have a little video to show you of the opening and the vibe.

One of the most prolific and well-known album cover designers, Storm Thorgerson cofounded the design company Hipgnosis with Aubrey “Po” Powell straight out of the Royal College of Art, and at the height of 1960s Swinging London. Thorgerson’s youthful friendship with Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, and David Gilmour led to the first Hipgnosis album sleeve, for Pink Floyd’s A Saucerful of Secrets.

Remember a few weeks ago when we told you we were excited about the new Deerhunter album, Fading Frontier, out on 4AD on October 16, 2015? Well, we are still really excited about the Atlanta bands new LP, and now even more so because the track "Breaker" has a video, a video that is simple and nice, for a track that is a nice return to a more experimental pop sound that made us love the band in the first place.

There are a lot of musicians who also paint or create other forms of art, and we have covered many on the site and in the mag in recent years. Arrington de Dionyso is one musician and artist we really love right now, and our friends at Saint Laurent made us aware of his fine art-side of his career recently, and we gathered a great group of works from Arrington, which seem to compliment, if not illuminate, his music.

Deerhunter is back! The Georgia-band had been on a slight hiatus due to lead singer Bradford Cox being hit by a car, but now they are set to release Fading Frontier on 4AD on October 16, 2015. Which means by then we will have a ton of leaks and tracks already heard, the first one being a video for the song "Snakeskin" directed by Valentina Tapia.

FKA twigs has to be one of the leading musicians working in the world of art and video right now, with just a fantastic canon of crazy work already in her young career. The newst WTF goodness comes on her new 16-minute music video for the release of her new EP, M3LL155X, which includes treatments for the tracks "Figure 8", "I'm Your Doll", "In Time", and "Glass & Patron". She calls this opus "an aggressive statement conceptualising the process of feeling pregnant with pain, birthing creativity and liberation."

Consistently one of our favorite music video directors, Nabil's latest video for Foals was created using GoPro cameras and is best viewed in the Youtube App on your phone. All you have to do is stand in on place and watch the video while moving your phone around... it's trippy.
