Consistently one of our favorite music video directors, Nabil's latest video for Foals was created using GoPro cameras and is best viewed in the Youtube App on your phone. All you have to do is stand in on place and watch the video while moving your phone around... it's trippy.

On May 5, 2013, Brooklyn-based rock band The National proved not only that practice and repetition makes perfect, but also makes for poignant performance art. Collaborating with Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson as part of MoMA PS1’s Sunday Sessions, the band played their three-minute and twenty-five second song “Sorrow” from their 2010 High Violet LP live on stage, repeatedly and continuously, for six hours. Not only did the tableau create a unique perspective on the concept of live performance, but it elevated the band to the fine art realm, as each note painted a veritable brushstroke that delivered contained, almost necessary improvisation. Simply, the project was called A Lot of Sorrow.

Update from an older post, with evidence that these guys are really good: Tame Impala's new LP, Currents, out today, July 17 through Modular, is really good. On the occasion, we wanted to share the new video for the track "'Cause I'm a Man" because its the summer sounds we prefer. Tame Impala and lead singer/songwriter Kevin Parker always seems to have a very good feel for the visual aspects of his music, and having the Currents cover be done by Kentucky-based artist Robert Beatty is pretty cool, too. Can't wait to see them at Outside Lands this August! Check it after the jump.

Knxwledge's Hud Dreams has been on heavy rotation in the Jux office since it dropped earlier this year. The Stones Throw artist has collaborated with Joey Bada$$, Blu, Iman Omari, and more recently on one of our favorite tracks off Kenrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, "Momma." Today Knxwledge released this welcomingly psychedelic video for the tracks "Flyinglizrds" and "Shuremng," animated by Ruff Mercy (who did this RTJ video) with footage from Ross Harris. Watch and enjoy! Light green, lime green, avocado...

One of the best music festivals in the world kicks off this weekend at Worthy Farm in England, as Glastonbury will be starred with headliners Florence + The Machine, Kanye West and The Who. From mud, legendary sets, and a pretty solid site-specific art program, we always keep an eye out Glastonbury-happenings. So does LEGO, as they have re-created the festival, and its famed Pyramid Stage, in LEGOs.

The video was constructed by the Peruvian art collective, Youth Experimental Studio, and is just a small taste of their fantastic work, which you can check out more of on their site here.
