A delayed mural ordinance is creating confusion and frustration amongst artists, and building owners in Los Angeles.  A recent wall painted by Zes, Push, Chris Brand, and Evan Skrederstu was painted over to serve as a backdrop for a production company, while another wall painted by Sand, Vyal, and Cope2 was buffed out by orders of the LAPD saying it was illegal to have a mural or graffiti piece on their property.

In 2009, Argentina-based sculptor, Adrián Villar Rojas, created a life-size blue whale deep in the woods of Ushuaia, Argentina.  The 31-year-old artist used wood, rocks, and clay to create this behemoth of piece.  Wonder if the whale was left to reclaimed by the earth?

Some people get excited about new Banksy pieces, but we are far more excited about the Jubilee Celebration, marking the Queen's 60-year reign as top dog monarch of the United Kingdom. The piece was spotted on Turnpike Lane in London, and it seems that Mr. Banksy is commenting on the fact that the Union Jack you buy is made by a kid with a really good sense of headwear style. We kid .. . or we don't.
