Today in A Portfolio, we look at the works of an artist we covered back in 2021 and who currently has works at Steve Turner, the British painter, Olivia Sterling. She has shown at Guts gallery in London and had a brilliant show at Meyer Riegger in Berlin in Fall 2022.
Olivia Sterling (born 1996, Peterborough, United Kingdom) creates paintings which address questions of blackness and whiteness in twenty-first century Britain. She depicts colorful scenes of celebratory mayhem to critique racialized biases.
