New Deuce 7 Streaks on the rails

If you have spent any significant time admiring or riding trains it’s highly probable that you have encountered a Deuce 7 moniker and took notice.  Standing out amongst that barrage of graffiti and scrawling that have swallowed the train’s exteriors, Deuce 7’s work is immediately recognizable and unique.  Here are a few recent pieces that have been spotted along the tracks.

Why not decorate your own backyard with your own work? Author and illustrator Adam Rex did exactly that. The imagery was based on an illustration he did for the children’s book tilted “Billy Twitters and his Blue Whale Problem.” Nice job.

New Mural by M-City in Italy

It’s been too long since we have seen any new work from Polish street artist, Mariusz Waras, aka M-City, however the Internet has produced images of a new mural he recently painted in Carugate, Italy.  Thank you Internet for allowing us to sit in our rooms, in our pajamas on a rainy day, and view art we may never have the opportunity to view in person.

Outdoor trickster and witty street artist, Mark Jenkins, has been in Roma the lat two weeks putting up some hilarious work in the street.  The artist is in town for his new exhibition “Living Layers” at Wunderkammern that will open on March 17th, 2012.

Choose what hue or tint you would like to view the world in.  The rooftop at the Aros Museum in Aarthus, Denmark permanently hosts this circular rainbow walkway designed by Olafur Elliasson.  At night, the installation is lit up from inside by spotlights embedded in the floor.
