Using some fancy cameras and a good eye, and maybe a little digital tweaking, photographer Nick Frank transformed the frantic, hustling and bustling Munich subway into inviting and very nicely composed spaces.

In 2007, a real estate agent named John Maloof paid $380 at an auction house for a box of 30,000 prints and negatives from an unknown photographer. Going through the box, he began to realize that the street photographs of 1950s and 60s Chicago and New York were both very unique and of very high quality. Some research lead to the photographer's identity: Vivian Maier, a nanny who spent nearly 40 years taking photographs but never shared her work. This documentary on the discovery of her amazing work looks promising!

Giant Keyboard Sculpture by Anatoly Vyatkin

Russian artist Anatoly Vyatkin has constructed a giant replica sculpture of a Cryllic QWERTY keyboard. in Yekaterinburg, Russia. The keyboard is made from 86 stone blocks each weighing up to 1,000 pounds.

Michael Jackson Shadow Casting Sculpture by Diet Wiegman

Artist Diet Wiegman utilizes scrap metal, and other junk to create sculptures that cast recognizable shadows. Aside from this amazing Michael Jackson light sculpture, he has recreated the globe using scraps of food, a pyramid that casts a shadow of a spider, and a re-imagining of Michelangelo’s David. Gallery is delighted to announce an exhibition by San Diego-based painter Julian Rogers. Entitled Group Session, the show will be Rogers’ first solo show since moving to the West Coast from New York City in 2012. This collection of Julian Rogers’ paintings, produced over a period of two years, presents an exploration of the ways in which psychoanalysis and therapy can be used as a model for generating imagery and disrupting stable relationships to content.

We hear a rumor that there will be free PBR, which, if you are walking your way home, sounds like a good stop-off idea.

Two things are working quite nicely here. One, this track from UK-band Foals, "My Number," from their LP Holy Fire, is really solid, and the directors of the video, US (the directing duo consisting of Christopher Barrett and Luke Taylor) have done a brilliant job with motion capturing the band in a unique and slightly "draw-by-numbers" video. Well, it's better than than. Just watch...
