Swoon Bowery Wall Completed
Swoon in collaboration with the Groundswell Community Mural Project (Misha Tyutyunik and Yana Dimitrova contributing work), has completed her Hurricane Sandy memorial piece at the famed Bowery and Houston wall in Manhattan. This week marks the one-year anniversary of Sandy’s landfall and the subsequent destruction left in the aftermath. The optimistic phrases “People helping people” and “Rise above the challenge” accompany the beautiful collage-style work.October 30, 2013
