Chantal Anderson is an editorial and lifestyle photographer whose work has been recognized, praised, and commissioned by the likes of Booooooom, Urban Outfitters, Google, NPR, Weiden + Kennedy, PBS, and countless others. Known for her fresh perspective and eye-popping colors, she cites her inspirations as “youth culture, the natural world, and surrealism.” Working and living between Los Angeles and the Pacific Northwest, Anderson documents her life and travels in such a way that we can’t help but take notice.
Anderson’s photographs convey a vibe of “seize the day,” but in a way that feels anything but contrived or overdone. Each shot reads as effortlessly stylish and simultaneously sincere, and her use of color, composition, and light are playful, intentional, and clever.
