Brendon Burton (b.1994) is a photographer and filmmaker. He is currently based in NYC, but grew up in a rural region of Oregon. His photographs often depict rural regions and portraits in open landscapes. His work explores themes of barrenness, abandonment, and the prevalence of religion in the American landscape. His photographs, specifically his portraits are reminiscent of film stills with the subjects he photographs often looking as if they are being captured in motion.
