Mária Švarbová’s photographs embrace both surreal and minimalist aesthetics. Her portrait scenes are a collage of the real and magical—such as naked people seemingly floating over a cloud scene—yet she does not use photo-editing tools to create them.

Švarbová is from Slovakia, where she develops both art and commercial work. In her words, her current photographs, “focus on delivering a message and triggering feelings with focus on minimalism and purity.”
