Who says you can't get good money from a resume? Apparently, when he was just a lad of 20, Jean-Michel Basquiat, perhaps the most famous artist to cone out of the early 1980's Downtown NYC scene, made a resume that was such crap, so devoid of actual work experience, he got to throw a big fuck you at everyone for listing Warhol, Tennessee Williams, Glenn O'Brien, and Johnny Carson as his contacts. This resume just sold at Sotheby's for $50,000. Actually, come to think of it, this is probably the greatest resume ever. We are sold.
The resume was part of a full Sotheby's exhibition auction, Man-Made, featuring over 30 Basquiat works. Some of the works are in the gallery above.
