Fine art photographer, David Welch's series ‘Material World’, is response to our societies over consumption of material goods. Creating photographic assemblages that are Duchampian-inspired, Welch creates monuments, or totems, that serve as precarious artifacts of a culture that is caught in a contemplative gaze.
