Kniterate is an affordable and compact digital knitting machine for your workshop. It allows you to turn digital designs into knitted garments ready to be worn.

Designed by London-based Gerard Rubio, Kniterate allows the user to take digital designs from Photoshop and turn them into wearable clothing. A 3D printer for knitwear of sorts, the machine was designed for fashion businesses and design schools in need of quick and low cost prototyping. Each unit will cost around $5,000 or less if you get in early via Kickstarter.
