Laszlo Kis does Tribal and Traditional

July 20, 2012

Hungary-born tattoo artist Laszlo Kis began his tattooing career at sixteen at his cousin's house in Monor. Since then he's relocated to Sao Paolo, Brazil, where he established Windhorse Tattoo. Impressive in Kis' portfolio is his fluency in a number of styles - he moves seamlessly from the traditional to the tribal, all articulated through his bold, clean linework. Regarding his decision not to focus on any single tattoo genre, Kis prioritizes the wishes of different clients: "I believe that, for some strange reason, people know what they will have on the body -- as if the tattoo has been there all along even before they enter the studio. Therefore, I cannot ignore their request, but must work with it."
