Street Art

Watch: Colorado Crush 2016

October 13, 2016

The Crush is Denver’s largest independent street art festival. Founded by Denver Graffiti Artist, Dread, the Crush has been taking over the streets of RiNo since 2009. With a love for street and graffiti art as well as his community, Dread aimed to create an event that capitalized on the amazing artistic talents he saw not only in Denver but also across the world. In 2016, the Crush was incorporated into the RiNo Art District organization in order to help the event grown and continue to beautify the area in north Denver.

Today, the event’s murals can be seen throughout RiNo and Denver as a testament to the dedication of the artists and the community. Each year’s event adds to the world-renowned collection of street art that the area has become known for and continues to grow. Artists from the local to the international scale bring their talents, passion, and vision to RiNo, transforming the walls and alleys of RiNo into a vibrant outdoor gallery.

This year's participants include artists such as Boy Kong, Joseph Martinez, Jose Mertz, Woes, Dulk, Elle, Illson, Taste, Dread and more.
