Soccer is a religion in Latin America, and Pelé is its god. Reason why the Brazilian street artist, Luis Bueno, wants to cover all São Paulo with his personal project, “Lovers of Pele,” (Pele Beijoqueiro) a series of street art pieces inspired by the iconic picture of Pelé kissing a Mohammed Ali, back when the soccer legend used to play for the New York Cosmos. 

The Olympics are coming and Brazil will once again be the international spotlight for Soccer in the world. In “Lovers of Pele”, Bueno create pieces with pop icons such as the Mona Lisa, Marilyn Monroe and David Bowie being kissed by Pelé.
