Stefan Janoski is widely known to be one of the most prolific skateboarders in the world. Equal to his abilities on a skateboard is his talent for art and design. Stefan was responsible for designing his own signature shoe for Nike Skateboarding; a shoe which became the highest selling athletic footwear in the history of the company. Janoski’s art show, titled Nightmares of Normality, opens Friday, November 3rd at Beatnik Studios in Sacramento.

The show features a collection of paintings and sculptures in bronze. Stefan’s work is playful and elegant. His ideas come to life with subtle symbology and subliminal messages. The work speaks volumes to those who struggle with creative ideas in a mechanical society. The show promises to draw the attention of people from many different worlds and walks of life. “Nightmares of Normality” will also feature a collection of graphic works by artist Joe Castrucci, inspired by Janoski’s sculptures. Joe and Stefan will also be showing a collaborative skateboard release from Habitat Skateboards.
