Kicking off Halloween celebrations, last night House of Vans in Brooklyn presented the third installment of HalloWolfbat - A Visual Assault by Dennis McNett. McNett transformed the space with his signature large-scale mixed-media installations. The visual artist brings to life complex three-dimensional installations that are influenced by folklore, mythological creatures and popular culture stories. The Wolfbat army was joined by the influential heavy metal band GWAR (who graced the cover of Juxtapoz last year), Darkest Hour and Mutoid Man.

Vans, Dennis McNett and GWAR collaborated to transform the expansive 25,000 square foot House of Vans space into a fully interactive art and music installation perfectly set for Halloween weekend. McNett's Wolfbat warriors battled 16-foot opponents set to the musical backdrop of death metal band Darkest Hour and metal supergroup Mutoid Man (Steve Brodsky/Cave In, Ben Koller/Converge, Nick Cageo/Brohammer).
