This month Michael Hoppen Gallery will host an exhibition for the works of photojournalist and fashion photographer, William Klein. The American-born French photographer, known extensively for an oeuvre that challenged the conventions of his contemporaries, began by documenting the streets of New York and Paris after World War II. Never formally trained, Klein favored inculcating a sense of experimentation into his work, breaking the rules of focal lengths, close-ups, light exposure and lens choice. He later worked for fashion magazines including Vogue, most famously.

"William Klein" will be on exhibit from July 10th - September 6th at Michael Hoppen Gallery in London.
