“There's a tendency for things to get boring and trivial when we get used to them. So I try to create an atmosphere that's beyond everyday life by showing it in a different way, “ says Danish photographer Albert Elm.

The skilled image-maker has been working an ongoing series entitled What Sort of Life is This, examining everyday occurrences from his unique perspective behind the lens. Shooting predominantly with 35mm film, Elm surveys, discovers and reveals, creating emotionally charged work through photography.
