Heikki Kaski’s work transcends any designated barriers placed around it, becoming exactly what it wants to become and in doing so completely disregarding the general public’s demands for a cohesive and intellectually moving collection.

His images do not follow a trend, and do not restrict themselves to one specific subject or style of photography, but are aesthetically pleasing nonetheless. For those of us who do look for meaning, however, and would like an explanation about his work, a possible source of inspiration could be American author David Foster Wallace (as a quotation of Wallace’s is included on Kaski’s bio page).
