Hanna Moon is a photographer with an interest in Korean feminism and voyeuristically reading comments on news reports as she told i-D.

Moon began her photographic work after studying fashion communication and promotion at Central Saint Martin’s, and is now a rising star in the fashion photography industry. What makes Moon’s work unique is her aim to showcase character rather than the shallowness of mere beauty which plagues the fashion industry. Her independent magazine A Nice Magazine was created with this intent and is full of collaborative work; including that of Tyrone Lebon, who she worked with for 2 years. Whilst Moon’s editorial work is excellent, I find her personal images more interesting, as they documents the characters she meets and the nuances of everyday life.
