Ontario-based photographer Stephen Orlando is known for his fascination with human movement. He uses programmable LED light sticks and attaches them onto things such as kayak paddles, people, and other objects in order to translate the movement into photographic light paintings. These light trails have are not artificially created with Photoshop and represent the actual paths of the objects. He has created similar series with movements including swimming, riding bikes, playing tennis and soccer, amongst other motion collaborations.
