“I started shooting because I was influenced by people and spontaneity. The camera has been a pass for me to interact and get myself into the most random worlds.
As a society we are obsessed with reality, like reality TV and social media. But most of that is manufactured. My photography is all about realism, but with no filter, just raw interaction predominantly with people I have never met. I approach people with no judgment and only sincerity and I think they can sense it; so they let me into their worlds. I self publish all my work, because I can't rely on no one connected to the art world to understand my shit. Look at it like a mix tape that I’m selling out the trunk of my car. I have complete control of what I publish, and whoever wants to fuck with me can.”
