Rafael Gonzalez is a skateboarder/photographer based in Panama City, Panama. He started shooting as a way to document what he saw on his trips and daily life.

Primarily using black and white film, his images convey the enormous complexity of urban life. Putting the viewer in a position they may rarely find themselves; Gonzalez forces his audience to appreciate the structures that are casually passed in daily life.

“Travels, architecture, and everyday life scenarios have been my source of inspiration since the very beginning. Those elements combined with the grainy textures and contrasts of the black and white film have definitely allowed me to express my personal vision through the lens.” Make sure to check out Gonzalez's Instagram.
