Until February 27th, a collection of portraits taken of iconic rocker David Bowie will be on display at Gallery Vassie in Amsterdam.
The collection of images, taken by photographer Brian Duffy, depict the process for creating some of the most iconic portraits in Bowie’s career. Among the images are outtakes from the photoshoot for David Bowie’s “Aladdin Sane” album cover. The collection spans through a period between 1972 and 1980 when Duffy was Bowie’s go-to photographer. The exhibition showcases the amazing products of two creative minds collaborating to produce images that have changed the face of rock and roll forever.
