In her series “Hermitage”, photographer Margo Ovcharenko captures moments of adolescent anguish and awkwardness. Each image shows Ovcharenko’s subjects caught in a moment of pensive reflection and the viewer is left to decipher each character’s personal narrative. With her attention to body language and the subtlety in facial expressions, Ovcharenko is able to create a strictly visual description of each subject that seems to truly encompass each of their personalities.
