Petros Koublis, a photographer based in New York and Athens, notably photographs vast but minimal landscapes and the delicate life that inhabit them. His photo book Inlands accurately portrays his aesthetic with a lovely series of close up night shots and horizon lines.
The photographer deconstructs the scope of the nighttime with his high contrast imagery. The photographer does stick to his usual, beautifully simple compositions but explores a new kind of value range while shooting under a night of moons. When put together into a photo book, the sequence of the images creates a journey for the viewer, one that fluctuates between a dream and a moonlit walk.
