Ashley M. Jones is a Georgia based photographer working almost exclusively with large format film. Her series From Frogtown to Victory was shot in Savannah, Georgia during her MFA Photography program. The title of the project refers to the area alongside Savannah's Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, an area that, while rich with local history, has been impacted by the construction of an interstate overhead. Her photographs show local business and homes in the area, all very clearly part of the southern vernacular.
