The Grand Re-opening of Superchief Greenpoint Featuring A Lilkool Solo Show

May 05, 2018Superchief Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Superchief Gallery is re-opening Superchief Greenpoint, making it their 4th gallery with unique programming every month. Each monthly exhibition will feature fully immersive 360 degree murals, meaning every surface, including floors, ceilings, benches, and chairs will be covered in a huge mural installation from the exhibiting artist's world, and will be up all month for people to explore for free.

Concurrently, Superchief will hang original artwork and limited edition offerings including prints, clothing, zines, and stickers from the artist(s) of the month during special engagements solely held on Saturday afternoons from 2pm-6pm. Each piece of merch will be sold exclusively at these events.

The Greenpoint location will also feature a full bar in the front by longtime Superchief friends Tender Trap BK. There will also be a back gallery/event space, a full stage, and a halfpipe for events and shows at the new spot.

The first full scale takeover will be by frequent Superchief collaborator Lilkool, and his character's cartoonish mischief.

His style will be available to take home in his original artwork, limited edition shirts, and stickers, only available at the opening.
