GREENERFLYER

From Jack Moore: “The idea for the Greener group show is to give a platform to young artists that produce art while navigating life in their 20’s in NYC. Every artist involved with Greener is slightly different from the next. It was my intention to bring different mediums, genres, and schools of thought together. Greener features work from Anders Newman, Bo Chapli, Bryce Peterson, Cole Navin, Elijah Anderson, Eva Weinberg, Hellworld Henry Jones, Hunter Potter, Jill Carlock, Julian Caridi, Lea Godoy, Lee Dawson, Smurfo Udirty, yungbachelor and yga."

"Creative events in New York City are often too focused on a singular subculture or school of thought. I wanted to create a different creative event that shows diversity in thought and creative application. Of course, there's always overlap. Using Superchief Gallery as the platform, I was able to curate a variety of creatives under one roof."

"Although every person is individually different, each artist shares one common characteristic. They are producing art while balancing bills, work, and social life. I respect that type of sacrifice and discipline. Therefore, I wanted to give these artists a platform to display their hard work. In doing so, I hope to bring people together and create a constructive environment that simultaneously inspires and comforts.”

"Greener" opens on June 7th, from 7 to 11 pm, at the Superchief Gallery in New York City.
