One of the great moments to capture in an artist's career is when they completely jump into a new practice and begin to experiment. British painter Nigel Cooke, the artist behind dense and thick of figuration and foliage, recently worked with Pace Prints on a series of monoprints and etchings, his first series of monoprints that will be on view at the Pace Prints' NY space from Feburary 1—March 7, 2020.

Ahead of the exhibition, Pace Prints documented Cooke in the studio creating the monoprints and etchings, capturing his unique and complicated process. As PP points out, "Cooke also describes adapting his practice to this new medium, the ideas behind his work, and what representations of humans and animals say about our place in the natural world."
