Mike Kershnar is showing his final show as curator at The Growlery, titled Some Time In SF. The show will be a visual journey of 35mm photographs, pen and ink illustrations, scribed mirrors, upcycled cigar boxes and bottles, and paintings. Mediations on skateboarding downtown, exploring the flora of Golden Gate Park, and sojourns to The Sequoias, Arizona, South Dakota, Paris and Copenhagen create a narrative of the joy of exploration as an artist.Patrons are encouraged to bring cash as totes and many small works will be just $20 and art decks for $60.
In addition we are honored to host MQ in the project room featuring a pop up shop of clothing, a new sticker zine, and unshown works of fine art.
The evening will finish up with a performance from the indie dance pop duo Cobra Man. Best known for scoring The Worble skate film.
