David Marc Grant and Adrian Landon Brooks both enjoy painting and having three names. Grant sent over some images from the show at Campfire Gallery, "One Day at a Time," and explained how the two got paired up. "Initially, Craig at Campfire decided to show our work together based on a shared formal sensibility of light pastel palettes, clean and detailed line work, geometrical abstraction, and a neo-folk aesthetic."

The two artists' works do have an eerie, mysterious dialogue going on when hung together, and, about his own work, Grant told us that, "Making a painting with weirdo plants with faces on them, or a woman's body with a raccoon head feels like some kind of breakthrough for me. Either that, or it's a sign that I've finally gone crazy." This sounds like the makings of a worthwhile exhibition.
