Artists Turn Old Palettes Into New Art in Denver

June 06, 2017

Dina Brodsky is curating a new show at Abend Gallery in Denver this month. This show, Palette, is a collection of artists' old palettes transformed into new art. She explored this idea last year at Lodge Gallery in New York City, but Palette will be a larger collection with close to 100 paintings, and in a new space in Denver.

Artists like James Adelman, a master in oil and charcoal, contemporary landscape painter Sue Bryan, The introspective world of Dimitri Desiron, will come to life on Abend’s walls alongside the natural magic of Jessica Pisano and the penetrating portraits of representational figurative painter Seven Assael. For most artists in the show, Palette will represent their Denver debut.
