Based in Melbourne, Sean Morris is one of our favorite Aussie artists. He has had a lot of work to do lately, putting together a group show at Backwoods Gallery entitled "Gold Blood. Magic Weirdos." On the gallery's website "Sean Morris describes Gold Blood as the common, intangible thing that flows through each of these artists, 'some amazing disease that makes them see the world the way that they do and drives them to express what they see through their art.'" In terms of Sean's own work, he has moved from working with pencil and simple line work to some more detailed watercolor works of similar imagery. It is exciting to watch his work progress.
