We're kicking it old school this Wednesday morning with Raoul Ubac (b. 1910 - d. 1985), an experimental Belgian photographer, painter, and sculptor. Ubac decided to abandon his career as a forester to pursue art in Paris in 1929, and under the influence of the likes of André Breton and Man Ray he dedicated himself to surreal photography until 1945, by which time his interest in surrealism had waned in favor of painting instead.
