Jeff Bark's 2005 photographic series "Abandon (Dusk)" depicts nudes languishing in home environments with gorgeous, Caravaggiesque lighting and composition. Bark captures his subjects in the highly-wrought posing, light and tone of the Dutch masters as they grasp for their water hoses and bowls of popcorn. "Abandon" explores the history of the body as an agent of emotion in high works of art. Bark lives and works in New York.
