Jason Scalfano is an Illustrator and Fine Artist from a small town in Northern Alabama. He is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA, majoring in Illustration, with a minor in Drawing. He works chiefly in Acrylic on canvas, but is proficient in a wide variety of mediums, including pen and ink, watercolor, charcoal, graphite, oils, collage, digital, and mixed media. He states "I aspire to communicate with imagery that captivates quietly, drawing on the concepts of the spiritual, the grotesque, and the uncanny. Through this, I attempt to persuade my audience to empathize with the images, and myself by extension."
